Welcome to the Winchmore Hill Bowls Club
NEW SEASON STARTS Saturday 20 April
Our Club offers a friendly welcome to players of all standards and abilities.
We have a thriving community of about 200 members, both playing and social.
You can join either as a full member (bowling and social) or as a social member (non-bowling).
With six full-length rinks the Club has a reputation for offering one of the best greens in North London. We compete in the Finchley & District Bowls Association and in the local club Leagues and there is also a full programme of internal and inter-club friendly league matches and competitions.
On Club nights, every Wednesday and Friday evening, we have ‘roll ups’. These sessions are open to all members for practice and are a great way for new bowlers to meet other players, play in a friendly game and develop skills.
The playing season runs from mid-April to the end of September.
Social events
If you prefer to join as a social member we also have a varied programme of events throughout the year.
Facilities
There is a spacious clubhouse with a bar, fully-equipped kitchen, wifi, toilets and women’s changing room. There is also a men's changing room which is being renovated this year. There is a patio area in front of the clubhouse with seating and parasols where you can sit in the sun and watch a match while enjoying a drink.
The Club has its own barrier-controlled car park with access directly to the club grounds.
